Denktas Meets With Clerides

LEFKOSA (A.A) - 14.06.2002 - President Rauf Denktas of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) came together with Greek Cypriot leader Glafcos Clerides in the buffer zone on Friday within the framework of direct talks process.
Addressing journalists prior to the meeting, President Denktas said that they would continue to discuss the issue of security.
United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan's Special Envoy to Cyprus Alvaro de Soto is also attending the meeting as observer.
