SEOUL (A.A) - Turkey beat China 3-0 in their last World Cup group C match on Thursday.
Turkey's first goal came in the sixth minute when Hasan Sas took advantage of a mistake by Chinese defender Li Weifeng on the edge of the box and blasted a right-foot shot over goalkeeper Jiang Jin from inside the area.
The second goal came three minutes later after Hasan Sas provided a dangerous cross from the left and defender Bulent Korkmaz's looping header at the far post went over Jiang.
Umit Davala made it three five minutes from time.
Goalkeeper Rustu Recber was replaced in the 35th minute by Omer Catkic when he suffered in injury in right his leg.
Meanwhile, defender Emre Asik and midfielder Emre Belozoglu were booked in the first half and they missed next match if Turkey reach the next round.
In the 59th minute, China's defender Shao Jiayi was sent off 13 minutes after coming on as a substitute.
In the other group C match, Brasil defeated Costa Rica 5-2 and after these results Brazil reached last 16 and Turkey qualified behind Brazil as group C runners-up.
Turkey will play the winners in group H -- Belgium, Japan, Russia or Tunisia -- in the second round on June 18 while Brazil will play this group's runners-up on June 17.

Brazil will play the runners-up of group H on June 17 while Turkey will meet the winners of group H.
