KIEV (A.A) - 11.06.2002 - Foreign Minister Ismail Cem arrived in Ukranian capital Kiev on Tuesday on a one-day official visit.
Cem, who made a brief statement to press at his arrival at the airport, Cem said he thought his contacts would add a new momentum to the bilateral relations.
Cem is scheduled to meet Ukranian President Leonid Kuchma and Foreign Minister Anatoliy Zlenko.
Bilateral employment agreement as well as cooperation agreement in sports will be signed following Cem's meeting with Zlenko.
Officials said legal basis of the relations between the two countries were set up with the agreements that were signed before, noting that Cem's visit would accelerate relations.
There is an intense cooperation between the two countries in trade and economic means.
