Syrian Delegation In Gaziantep

GAZIANTEP (A.A) - 23.05.2002 - Syrian 10-people delegation headed by Aleppo Chamber of Trade Chairman Mohammad Saleh Mallah arrived in southeastern Gaziantep province on Thursday.
The delegation visited Gaziantep Deputy Governor Ismail Korkmaz.
Mallah said that especially businessmen had great responsibilities for the relations to be developed between Turkey and Syria.
Mallah stated that the two friendly countries were very close to each other in social, political, cultural and geographical fields and added that this proximity should be evaluated as an important opportunity to improve commercial relations between the two countries.
Korkmaz said that they also wanted to further improve Turkey-Syria relations and added that the two countries had recorded significant developments recently.
Syrian delegation also visited Gaziantep Mayor Celal Dogan and took information about the province.
