ANKARA (A.A) - 19.05.2002 - Doctors at Baskent University said on Sunday that health condition of Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit was better the same day when compared with the previous day.
A statement of Baskent University said, ''during the controls on May 19, we have observed that Prime Minister Ecevit is better today. His treatment continues as planned.''
IRANIAN AMBASSADOR SENDS MESSAGE AND FLOWERS TO PRIME MINISTER ECEVIT
Iranian Ambassador to Turkey Mohammad Hussein Lavasani sent on Sunday ''get well soon'' message and flowers to Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit.
Iranian First Secretary Hesamoddin Rafiee went to Baskent University Hospital, where Prime Minister Ecevit was taken under medical treatment.
Responding to questions of reporters after spending half an hour at the hospital, Refiee said that he brought the message and flowers of Ambassador Lavasani to Prime Minister Ecevit.
Rafiee said that he did not meet with Ecevit but that he received information about health condition of Ecevit from the doctors.
ECEVIT HAILS PARTY MEMBERS FROM WINDOW OF HOSPITAL
Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit who also acts as the leader of the Democratic Left Party (DSP) on Sunday hailed the members of his party, who gathered in front of Baskent University hospital, from the window of the hospital where he receives medical treatment.
The party members, carrying placards ''no concession from honesty. We love you'' and ''we always support you'', came in front of the hospital.
Upon the applause of the party members, Ecevit came to near the window of the hospital together with his wife Rahsan and hailed them.
Five members of the party later entered the hospital and conveyed ''get well soon'' messages of the party.
Doctors said Ecevit was in good health condition.
