VIENNA (A.A) - 19.05.2002 - State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Devlet Bahceli said on Saturday that there was no need to discuss the proxy possibility of the Prime Ministry.
Touching on the Article 113 of the Constitution which had been brought to the agenda due to illness of Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit, Bahceli, who is currently in Vienna, said, ''I do not think it is right to bring into agenda an issue like proxy and give new dimensions to the discussions. There is no need to discuss.''
Bahceli noted that it was not right to continue this much intensive discussion on health of the Prime Minister.
This discussion was not right for the country and the 57th government which continued its works in harmony, Bahceli stated.
Bahceli added, ''the necessary treatment of Ecevit's illness continues. It does not matter whether Ecevit rests at home or treated in a hospital or another place.''
