Turkey Ranked 22nd In Fifa World Rankings

ANKARA (A.A) - 15.05.2002 - FIFA announced on Wednesday the World Rankings in May 2002.
Turkey climbed two places to 22nd ranking with 654 points.
France held their top position with 802 points while Brazil and Argentina tied the second place with 784 points.
Turkey's opponents in World Cup finals, Costa Rica were ranked 29th with 643 points and China were ranked 50th with 566 points.
Meanwhile, all 32 World Cup finalist teams were placed in the Top 50.
Turkey's opponents in Euro-2004 qualifying group, Britian were ranked 12th with 694 points, Slovakia 49th with 574 points, Macedonia 89th with 462 points and Liechtenstein were ranked 149th with 241 points.
