Turkey And Bulgaria To Perform Joint Exercise

KIRKLARELI (A.A) - 10.05.2002 - Turkey and Bulgaria will perform a joint exercise on maintenance of peace and humanitarian aid in northwestern Kirklareli province.
A statement of Land Forces Commandership said on Friday that the Bulgarian unit would be comprised of 6 soldiers and 39 noncommissioned officers.
The statement noted that the Bulgarian unit which would enter Turkey on May 12 would join training activities with Turkish soldiers.
The exercise would be performed on May 17, the statement added.
