LEFKOSA (A.A) - 06.05.2002 - Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Rauf Denktas and Greek Cypriot administration leader Glafcos Clerides will start their fourth round of direct talks on Tuesday.
The fourth round of direct talks launched on January 16 in order to find a solution to Cyprus question will begin at 6.00 p.m.
The negotiations were suspended on April 26 due to Easter of Greek Cypriots.
United Nations (U.N.) Secretary General Kofi Annan's Special Envoy to Cyprus Alvaro De Soto, who is joining the talks as an observer, had gone to New York during the Easter holiday in order to inform Annan and U.N. Security Council about the course of the negotiations.
The Greek Cypriots are expected to give a response to the comprehensive solution proposal presented by Denktas on April 26 at tomorrow's meeting.
Meanwhile, Kofi Annan, who will come to the island on May 14, will have separate meetings with both of the leaders and bring together the leaders at a lunch or dinner.
