ISTANBUL (A.A) - 06.05.2002 - Galatasaray Club Vice President Ali Durust said on Monday that coach Mircea Lucescu had quitted his job, and added that Fatih Terim had become the new coach of Galatasaray.
Responding questions of journalists following Executive Board meeting, Durust said, ''Lucescu started his job in June of 2000. He quitted his job saying that he had fulfilled his mission. We appreciated Lucescu's successful works in Galatasaray.''
Durust added that Galatasary Club President Ozhan Canaydin would hold a press conference with Terim on Tuesday.
