Boxing- Seven Turkish Boxers Qualify To Quarter-final

ISTANBUL (A.A) - 29.04.2002 - Seven out of 16 Turkish boxers qualified to quarter-final in the 17th International Ahmet Comert Boxing Tournament on Monday.
Nafiz Yaman of Turkey competing in the men's 57 kg category beat Stoinov of Bulgaria, Serdar Ustuner of Turkey competing in the men's 71 kg category beat Tagiev of Azerbaijan, Hasan Kilic of Turkey competing in the men's 75 kg category beat Homayoun of Iran, Kurban Gunebakan of Turkey competing in the men's 91 kg category beat Kzushanovski of Belarus and Ulku Aslan of Turkey competing in the men's 91 kg category beat Ganstastuc of Moldovo.
Meanwhile, Derya Aktop of Turkey competing in the women's 45 kg category beat Naznikova of Bulgaria and Beyhan Karagibioglu of Turkey competing in the women's 51 kg category beat Nedyalkova of Bulgaria.
Nearly 400 boxers from 40 countries are competing in the tournament.
