WASHINGTON (A.A) - 26.04.2002 - State Minister Kemal Dervis for Economy who is currently in the United States met late on Thursday with U.S. Federal Reserve Board Chairman Alan Greenspan.
Dervis earlier stated that it was important for him to have prominent economist Greenspan listen to his opinions about the economic situation in the world.
Dervis had his first meeting with Greenspan since he was appointed as the State Minister for Economy.
Dervis who attended the spring term meetings of the IMF and World Bank had meetings with IMF Managing Director Horst Koehler and World Bank President James Wolfensohn.
