Uleb Fines Ulkerspor To 10 Thousand Euros

ISTANBUL (A.A) - 16.04.2002 - The Union of European Basketball Leagues (ULEB) fined on Tuesday Ulkerspor basketball team which refused to go to Israel for its European Basketball Men's League match with Maccabi Tel-Aviv team to 10 thousand Euros.
Ulkerspor was announced 2-0 defeated by the decision of the referee because it had refused to go to Israel for its match over safety concerns.
However, Ulkerspor was fined to only 10 thousand Euros since it had some rightful reasons for not going to Israel for the match.
