Mild Earthquake Jolts Izmir

IZMIR (A.A) - 15.04.2002 - A mild earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale jolted western province of Izmir at 03:14 a.m. on Monday.
Istanbul-based Kandilli Observatory Seismology Institute told the A.A that the earthquake was centered on Menemen township of the province.
Izmir Municipality officials said that there were not any immediate reports of casualties and damages in the earthquake.
