JERUSALEM (A.A) - 08.04.2002 - Turkish parliamentary delegation comprised of seven people wrapped on Sunday their contacts in Jerusalem.
The group went to the region to support Palestinian President Yasser Arafat and Palestinian people.
The delegation comprised of members of Felicity Party (SP) and Motherland Party (ANAP) met with Palestinian parliamentarian Hanan Ashravi and Sari Nusseibeh of the Palestinian Academic Society for the Study of International Affairs (Passia).
During the meeting in which regional issues were debated, it was reported that Ashravi's house in Ramallah was hit.
The delegation said they hoped that peace talks would begin as soon as possible.
The group later attended dinner hosted by Turkey's Consul General Huseyin Avni Bicakli in Jerusalem.
The delegation is expected to proceed to Tel Aviv and hold contacts with Israeli officials on Monday.
