Shevardnadze Receives Kececiler

TBILISI (A.A) - 05.04.2002 - Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze received on Friday State Minister Mehmet Kececiler, who is currently in Georgia.
Kececiler conveyed the good will messages of President Ahmet Necdet Sezer and Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit to Shevardnadze. The two officials took up mainly the cooperation between the two countries in customs.
Kececiler, who came to Tbilisi, Georgia upon the invitation of Georgian Tax Incomes Minister Levan Dzneladze, also met with Georgian State Minister in charge of economy Avtandil Jorbenadze.
Prevention of double taxation, cooperation and assistance in the procedure of customs entries and exits were taken up in the meeting. Kececiler said in the meeting that Turkey was ready to extend help and cooperate in these issues.
