ANKARA (A.A) - 29.03.2002 - Turkish Cemetery in Egyptian capital Cairo which was restored by the Culture Ministry, will be inaugurated on April 1.
Releasing a statement, the Culture Ministry said on Friday that Culture Minister Istemihan Talay would pay a visit to Egypt between March 30 and April 2 to attend inaugration of the cemetery and ''Turkish Culture Week'' activities.
Turkish handicrafts exhibition, Turkish folk music concerts, Turkish traditional cloths fashion show and promotion of Turkish cuisine are among these activities.
Turkish Cemetery was arranged for the Turkish soldiers who were martyred in Palestinian front during the World War I.
Restoration works in the cemetery was started by Culture Minister Talay in 1998.
