30 Iraqis And Iranians Caught In Van

ERCIS, March 26 (A.A) - A total of 30 Iraqi and Iranians were caught in Van's Ercis township after illegally entering Turkey on Tuesday. Three Turkish citizens who helped them were also taken into custody.
Acting on a tip-off, security teams stopped a truck going towards Agri. They found 30 people from Iraq and Iran who were hidden in the cargo area of the truck.
Three Turks were detained on the charges of human smuggling.
Iranians and Iraqis will be deported.
