ANKARA, March 25 (A.A) - Ankara State Security Court (DGM) Prosecutor Nuh Mete Yuksel said on Monday that the investigation he started about famous singer Ibrahim Tatlises upon the application of a group of relatives of martrys continued.
Responding to questions of journalists about the investigation, Yuksel said that the prelimentary probe was secret and he would not give information about it.
When a journalist asked him if there was sufficient evidence, Yuksel said that ''it is our mission to collect evidence.''
Yuksel began his probe after a lawyer for 60 relatives of martyrs and veterans accused Tatlises of maintaining ties with the terrorist organization PKK.
''Ibrahim Tatlises is accused of having relations with the terrorist organisation PKK, assisting this organisation with 1.5 million U.S. dollars in cash and secretly providing PKK militants with medical treatment in Istanbul,'' the lawyer's petition said.
