MONTERREY-MEXICO, March 23 (A.A) - State Minister Kemal Dervis has said that all countries, regardless of their level of developments, needed new sustainable development models, when he spoke at a United Nations International Development Financing conference in Mexico's Montrrey city on Saturday.
Developing countries, Dervis said should focus on developing their markets while they switch to market economy and they should make the necessary changes that would make markets more organized.
Dervis also indicated that the World Bank had many beneficial implementations in this field and helped several countries to adopt market economy.
''Foreign trade should be regarded as the main tool of development and industrialization in developing countries,'' he said.
Later Dervis listed his proposes for development as follows:
-Governments should remain outside of daily makret functions and it should only serve as a guide at micro level.
-Priority should be to form a more efficient administration at national level.
-Special policies and models should be formed for developing countries.
