EDIRNE, March 19 (A.A) - Security forces captured 1,175 foreigners in the last two and a half mounths, and 269 of them were deported.
Sources told the A.A correspondent on Tuesday that 1,175 foreigners had been captured since the beginning of this year.
There were 477 Iraqi, 172 Palestinian, 129 Afghan, 65 Bangladeshi, 64 Nigerian, 47 Iranian, 43 Georgian, 27 Algerian, 21 Chinese, 16 Pakistani, 16 Somalian, 9 Azerbaijani, 9 Burman, 8 Sudanese, 7 Indian, 6 Sierra Leonean, 4 Tunisian, 3 Syrian, 3 Sri-Lankan, 2 Egyptian, 2 Moldovan, 2 Romanian, 2 South African, 1 Ethiopian, 1 Russian, 1 Zimbabwean, 1 Uzbek, 1 Ghanian and 1 Moroccan citizens among these foreigners.
A total of 269 of these foreigners were deported while remaining 906 were released.
