ANKARA, March 17 (A.A) - Jalal Talabani, the leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), will come to Ankara on Wednesday after wrapping up contacts in Syrian capital Damascus.
Talabani will come to Istanbul on Tuesday and proceed to Ankara on Wednesday to meet with Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ugur Ziyal.
Sources said on Sunday that Talabani will come to Ankara to make an evaluation about his contacts in Syria.
An official of Foreign Ministry told A.A correspondent that Talabani's visit and U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney's visit to Turkey on the same day did not have any connection.
Talabani had paid a visit to Ankara on March 4 and left Turkey for Syria on March 12.
