ANKARA, March 16 (A.A) - Energy and Natural Resources Minister Zeki Cakan will leave for Washington D.C. on Sunday to attend 21st Annual Conference of American-Turkish Council and Clean Fossil Fuel Technologies.
Energy and Natural Resources Ministry issued a written statement and said Cakan and the U.S. Energy Minister Spencer Abraham will sign a technology cooperation agreement in energy between Turkey and the U.S.
Cakan will also attend signing ceremony of project contract of Konaktepe Dam that would be constructed on Tunceli Munzur River. The project contract agreement will be signed between the State Water Works (DSI) and the U.S. Consortium.
Cakan is expected to return to Turkey on March 23.
