KIRKLARELI, March 14 (A.A) - Security forces captured on Thursday Hikmet Dogramaci and Murat Bayram, two persons who robbed Akbank's branch in Gayrettepe district of Istanbul, in northwestern Kirklareli province.
Kirklareli Governor Ali Serindag told A.A correspondent that the gendarmerie forces received a tip-off that there were suspicious people in the passanger train en route from Istanbul to Bucharest, Romania.
Police and gendarmerie forces searched the train at train station in Alpullu hamlet of Kirklareli's Babaeski township and captured Dogramaci and Bayram, who robbed Akbank's branch in Istanbul.
The security forces found 37 billion 410 million 250 thousand Turkish liras (TL) and 19 thousand 405 U.S. dollars on the suspects and confiscated the two guns used in the robbery.
The suspects were sent to Istanbul after completion of proceedings in Alpullu.
