JERUSALEM, March 13 (A.A) - As clashes between Palestinians and Israeli army have been continuing, two Turkish journalists who are currenty in the region to cover the clashes, were stranded in Ramallah.
Nursun Erel and Ali Berber from the private Kanal-D television channel, have been stranded in a TV station in Ramallah together with ten foreign journalists.
A.A correspondent held a telephone conversation with Erel.
Erel said that they were in good health condition, and added that there was no need to be worried.
Meanwhile, Turkish Consulate in Jerusalem and Turkish Embassy in Tel Aviv have been put on alert.
Turkish officials feeling uneasy after killing of an Italian journalist in Ramallah, held contacts with Israeli military authorities.
An armored vehicle is expected to be sent to Ramallah with the permission of Israeli army to save Turkish journalists.
