ANKARA, March 12 (A.A) - Justice and Development Party (AK) Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that all Turkmens in Iraq had the right to live a democratic and peaceful life when he met Iraqi Turkmen front Chairman Ahmet Aga and Iraqi Turkmen Front Turkey Representative Mustafa Ziya Erdogan on Tuesday.
During the visit, Aga said that Turkmens were oppressed in Iraq adding that Turkey extended support to them in every field. Aga also asked support from the political parties in Turkey.
''It's the right of all Turkmens in Iraq to live in peace and democracy. It's their right to live a life without cruelties. We're ready to do our share to help them,'' Erdogan said.
