WASHINGTON D.C., March 9 (A.A) - U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney will pay a visit to Turkey within framework of his tour to Middle East and Britain.
U.S. administration officials told the A.A correspondent on Saturday that Cheney's contacts in Turkey were expected to focus on the issue of Iraq.
Recalling that Turkey had been playing an important role in International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan, these officials said that the issue of Afghanistan would also be brought onto agenda during Cheney's contacts in Turkey.
They added that the Operation Northern Watch would also be taken up.
