MOSCOW, March 8 (A.A) - Fire was opened on a Turkish fishing boat in Russian exclusive economic zone in Black Sea.
The Turkish boat was taken to Novorrossisk port of Russia after the incident which took place on Thursday.
Russian Federal Border Guard Service Press Centre said on Friday that while the Turkish boat was fishing 60 miles off Novorossisk port of Russia, Russian coast guard boats tried to stop it. Russian coast guard boats opened fire for warning, but the Turkish boat tried to escape, the Russian Press Centre claimed.
Russian coast guard boats later opened fire on the Turkish boat, the Russian Press Centre noted and alleged that the pursuit continued for five hours. Finally the Turkish boat was stopped and brought to Novorrossisk, it was added.
