A Bomb Explodes In Istanbul, Injuring One

ISTANBUL, March 8 (A.A) - A bomb exploded in Kadikoy district of Istanbul early on Friday injuring one person.
The bomb, which was left in front of Turkey Sciences Academy Chairman Prof. Engin Bermek's apartment, exploded and his son Esen Bermek was injured.
Bermek was immediately sent to hospital and taken under medical treatment.
Hospital officials said that Esen Bermek's health condition was not serious.
Police officials said that the bomb was left in front of the door of the apartment by unidentified person or people.
They also said that the investigation continues.
