A Total Of 424,961 People Visited Turkey In February

ANKARA, March 7 (A.A) - Number of foreign tourists, who visited Turkey last month, increased 5.02 percent when compared with the figures of last year same month.
Tourism Ministry issued a written statement and said number of tourists visiting Turkey from the OECD countries reached 208, 732, and number of those coming from Eastern Europe reached 154,843.
Germany ranked the first with 22.32 percent among the countries who sent tourists to Turkey the most in February. Bulgaria ranked the second, and Russia ranked the third.
Greece, France, the Netherlands, Iran, Britain, Azerbaijan and Romania followed those.
