Syrian And Libyan Foreign Ministers Stress Importance Of O.I.C.-e.U. Forum

ISTANBUL, Feb 12 (A.A) - Syrian Foreign Minister Faruq Al-Shara said on Monday evening at the OIC-EU Forum Welcome Reception that ''this meeting is very important as it is held in Istanbul where the civilizations of Islam and European civilizations meet.''
Libyan Foreign Minister Mohammad Abdulrahman Shalkam said in his part that certain regional problems could come onto agenda in the meeting, but the real aim was to search for different ways of compromise among civilizations.
''Therefore, I don't expect the Forum to take a decision about a certain problem like that of Palestine,'' he added.
