Iranian F.M. Kharrazi Says Forum Is Important In Prevention Of Clashes Among Civilizations

ISTANBUL, Feb 12 (A.A) - Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi said on Monday evening in Welcome Reception that the meeting in Istanbul is very important in respect of prevention of clashes among civilizations.
When asked if he was warm to the idea of the final declaration's referring to the Middle East problem, Kharrazi said that there were many issues to be taken up in the Forum.
''The Palestinian problem is the biggest problem of the Islam world today. Therefore, if it is taken up at every opportunity, this will be fine, because we witness the violation of the rights of Palestinian people every day. Yet the final declaration will become clear at the end of the negotiations between the sides,'' he said.
