Solana: O.I.C. And E.U. Representatives Come Together For First Time

ISTANBUL, Feb 12 (A.A) - Javier Solana, the Secretary General of the European Council and High Representative of CFSP said on Monday evening at Welcome Reception that ''OIC and EU representatives came together for the first time by this Joint Forum.''
''We have many things to share and to clarify. We aim to make the world be a better place to live. Not only politics, but issues of cultures and civilizations will be taken up in the Forum,'' told Solana to A.A correspondent in the reception.
When asked if he would launch any initiatives to overcome the differences of opinion between Turkey and Greece about ESDP, Solana said that he was always ready for such a mission.
When asked if he expected any result to be taken from the Middle East Peace Process from the summit, Solana said that discussions will be held to re-start the process.
