Cem: Turkey Works For Continuation Of Forum

ISTANBUL, Feb 12 (A.A) - Foreign Minister Ismail Cem the OIC-EU Joint Forum gave a peace message to the world, adding that Turkey aims the continuation of the Forum.
Speaking to A.A correspondent during last evening's Welcome Reception, Cem said that he hoped the Forum to achieve its goal.
Cem said that the Foreign Ministry works on continuation of this formation.
Turkey aims to cover the statements and speeches to be issued during the Forum in a booklet and cd-rom and hand them out to attendees.
Turkey aims to transform the Forum not into a regular organization, but into a formation which will convene when a certain country calls for a meeting when necessary.
Diplomatic sources said that this can revive initiatives such as EUROMED and Mediterranean Forum which could not be heard much at the international platforms to date.
