ISTANBUL, Feb 12 (A.A) - Iraqi Foreign Minister Naci Sabri said on Tuesday that the peace and stability in Iraq will contribute to peace and stability in all countries including Turkey.
Responding to questions of journalists at Ataturk Airport, Sabri who came to Istanbul to attend the OIC-EU Joint Forum, claimed that the U.S. and Britain resorted to violence against Iraqi territory and staged attacks, adding that ''this is against U.N. Resolutions; therefore, we call them to end the attacks on Iraqi territory.''
Referring to the importance of Iraq for the region, Sabri said that he hoped Turkey to launch efforts within the scope of good neighbourhood relations with Iraq. Attacks against Iraq won't serve the interests of any country including Turkey, he said.
Noting that Iraq expected Turkey to act within U.N. Resolutions and international law in foreign policy, Sabri said that the Forum would lead the Muslim world and Europe to cooperation.
