EXECUTIONERS SHOULD BE PUNISHED
French Ambassador in Ankara Paul Paudade said that rising terrorist activities in the Southeastern Anatolia region are affecting Turkey's image in the EU process very negatively. Paudade who visited Mayor of Diyarbakir said that he strongly condemned the bomb attack on train in Bingol which caused death of 5 personnel of Turkish Directorate General of State Railways (TCDD). He noted that dead people and executioners should not be considered equal, and executioners should be punished.
SUICIDE BOMBER ALARM
After the incident of suicide bomber Eyup Beyaz, a member of DHKP-C terrorist organization, who tried to enter Justice Ministry, now Istanbul is in alarm against suicide bomber of PKK terrorist organization. The photographs of terrorist Fatma Gencer were hanged in entrances of official institutions. She is 22 and born in eastern city of Van.

TELEKOM SURPRISE
It was interpreted that Oger would take Telekom as it gave the highest bid. However, Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim made a surprise statement and said that they would also assess proposal of Etisalat which offered cash payment.
MOSQUE CAMPAIGN IN TRNC
Justice & Development Party (AKP) government added 3.5 million YTL of allocation to this year's financial aid package of Turkey to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) for construction of 12 new mosques in TRNC. There are currently 173 mosques in TRNC. Construction of new mosques was demanded by TRNC authorities. The reason of this demand is that Annan Plan is including an arrangement which envisages transfer of churches, which were changed as mosques, to Greek Cypriots.

ERDOGAN WILL ALSO MAKE A CALL TO G-8
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will make a call to G-8 saying that the money allocated to armament should be given to poverty. Erdogan will make his call from MTV Music Channel on the day of G-8 Summit which will convene between 6-8 July.
SECURITY ALARM IN PRIME MINISTRY
Extraordinary security measures were taken at the Prime Ministry where the cabinet gathered yesterday following the suicide bomb attack at the Ministry of Justice last week. The number of police officers who are guarding Prime Minister Erdogan has been increased. The security measures have been particularly increased after the news that the suicide bomber --who was killed-- could have an assistant.

HIGHER INFLATION ON THE STREET
State Institute of Statistics (DIE) announced the annual inflation as 8.95 percent as of the end of June, however the increase of prices in many of the products used by the Turkish people are more than that.
50 BILLION DOLLARS NOT DREAM IN TOURISM
Mehmet Nazif Gunal, who is the biggest tourism investor of Turkey has made three proposals to increase the Turkish tourism revenue. According to Gunal, Turkey should spend 300-500 million dollars annually for promotion activities like Greece and Spain and two millions of dwellings could be sold to foreigners and in return a revenue of 20 billion dollars could be made annually.

HIGH GRAVITY OIL IN DIYARBAKIR
TPAO (Turkish Petroleum Corporation) stated that it discovered high-quality oil in Kocakoy town of southeastern city of Diyarbakir. Officials said that the gravity of oil which is extracted from wells in eastern city of Batman is 28, noting that the gravity of oil which is extracted from Yenikoy-39 well in Diyarbakir is 32.
SUMMER RAIN HITS MARMARA
Torrential rain paralyzed daily life in general of Turkey. Sakarya State Hospital was flooded and patients in emergency were evacuated. Rivers overflowed and nearly 1000 houses and business places were flooded in Istanbul. Many vehicles were dragged with flood.

YOU SHOULD HAVE EU MENTALITY
Hungarian chief negotiator for EU entry talks Peter Blazs said that ''if Turkey wants to join the club, it should adopt itself to EU, because this is Turkey's preference. Turkey should analyze EU laws very well. Turkey's religion is not a very important factor, because Turkey is the most modern country within the Islamic world.''
BAYKAL SAYS GOVERNMENT HAS TO CHANGE
Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Deniz Baykal said that the AK Party was in power for the last three years, but the problems of the country still remained unsolved. Baykal claimed that the AK Party rule was in conflict with the secular and democratic Turkish Republic. Turkish democracy is being tested by AKP rule and the government should change, Baykal added.

JOY OF OIL
Turkey, which explores oil jointly with British Petrol in Black Sea, has received a surprising news from southeastern city of Diyarbakir. It was stated that oil having 32 gravity was discovered in Kocakoy town of Diyarbakir. TPAO (Turkish Petroleum Corporation) Batman District Management officials said that drilling activities which had started 4 months ago in Yenikoy-39 well were completed and they reached a large oil field in 2.325 meters.
THANKS FROM TRNC TO GUL
Premier Ferdi Sabit Soyer of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) talked to Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul on the phone and thanked him for making TRNC to take place in Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) as Turkish Cypriot State.

FLOATING CITY TO BE BUILT IN TURKEY
The first ''floating city'' which is one of the leading projects of the world will be built in southern Iskenderun city. Totally 108,000 people will be living in the floating city project which is expected to be finished within 3.5 years. The project is expected to start this October.
GUL DUE TO SREBRENICA
An international commemoration ceremony will be held in Srebrenica on the 10th anniversary of the biggest massacre committed in Europe in post-World War II era. Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul will also take part in the ceremony in Srebrenica where 8000 Bosnian people were killed on July 11th.

GERMANY TRAP TO DUAL CITIZENS
Turks are concerned when Germany has started to prepare a law to deprive dual citizens of citizenship. A Turkish lawyer in Germany Temel Nal said that people in this status should apply to an authorized institution and search for their rights.
