ISTANBUL, Feb 11 (A.A) - Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa said on Monday that he would open Iraq into discussion during the special meetings despite it was not on the agenda of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) and European union (EU) Joint Forum.
Moussa came to Istanbul to attend OIC-EU Joint Forum.
Responding to questions of reporters, Moussa said that he hoped the forum would end with a compromise of the civilizations and cultures.
Upon a question on Iraq, Moussa said that he would open developments regarding Iraq into discussion during the special meetings despite it was not on the agenda of the forum.
Moussa noted that he believed that important steps would be taken at the meeting.
Touching on Palestinian issue, Moussa said that he found the solution plan brought into agenda by France related with the Palestinian dispute as important.
Moussa noted that this plan accepted that there would not be any solution in the Middle East without a Palestinian state.
Stating that this was one of the sine qua non issues for the solution, Moussa said that it was an undiscussable reality.
Meanwhile, Pakistani Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdus Sattar, Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs Yousef Bin Alawi Abdullah, Jordanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Merwan Muasher, Qatari Minister of Foreign Affairs Hamad bin Jasim bin Jabir Al-Thani, Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs Farouk al-Shara, Austrian Minister of Benita Ferrera-Waldner, Lithuanian Foreign Ministry Special Envoy Vytautas Pleckaitis arrived in Istanbul.
