ANKARA, Feb 6 (A.A) - A reception was held in Ankara Palas upon the 20th foundation anniversary of DHL Turkey, which acts in the field of international air transportation.
DHL Regional Director for Europe and Africa Graham Davey said in the reception that DHL Turkey had great contributions to the success DHL reached in the world.
Davey said that Turkey has a significant status in respect of geography, adding that Turkey was elected as a pilot country to put into practice reformist projects.
Noting that Turkey has great potentials, Davey said that they would increase their investments in Turkey this year.
DHL Turkey Director General Michael Akavi said in his part that DHL Turkey is a strategic bridge for Turkish exporters who open to the world markets, adding that DHL Turkey would both undertake new investments and continue its export mobilization.
DHL, which has almost 65,000 personnel carries more than 140 million cargos to 675,000 offices in 228 countries.
