Turkish Airlines Places New Order For Eight B-737-800

ISTANBUL - Turkish Airlines has ordered eight Boeing-737-800 passenger planes in a new order in addition to its previous deal to buy 15 planes, the company said in a statement Friday.
THY, which agreed to buy 15 B-737-800 from Boeing in 2004, placed the new order after securing funding for the payment.
