ANKARA, Feb 6 (A.A) - Parliament Speaker Omer Izgi left for Istanbul on Wednesday who would later go to Azerbaijan.
Speaking at Esenboga Airport, Izgi said that he attributed great importance to his visit to Azerbaijan as the official guest of his Azeri counterpart Murtuz Aleskerov.
Noting that the foundation of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline would be laid down soon, Izgi said that he would also get information about the rumours telling that Gebele base has been opened to Russia.
Izgi, who is accompanied by some deputies, will return to Turkey on Feb. 10.
