Turk Telekom Tender - Final Bargaining To Be Held With Oger Telecoms & Etisalat Partnership

ANKARA - Privatization Administration Board Chairman Metin Kilci said on Friday that final bargaining talks would be held with Oger Telecoms and Etisalat Partnership, which have submitted the highest bids for the Turk Telekom.
Kilci told reporters that the ''offer envelopes'' that were submitted by four consortia were opened today, and said that the tender would be concluded by ''bargaining method''.
Bargaining talks would be held in coming hours, added Kilci.
The government is planning to auction a 55 percent stake in Turk Telekom, a monopoly controlling Turkey's landline telephone network.
