Bridges And Viaducts To Be On Parliament's Agenda

ANKARA, Feb 6 (A.A) - The Motherland Party (ANAP) Istanbul Parliamentarian Aydin Ayaydin called for a parliamentary investigation to be opened to determine the resistance of straits and viaducts, and to determine the measures that would be taken.
The motion, submitted to the Parliamentary Chairmanship, recalled that there were statements that Istanbul Bogazici and Fatih Sultan Mehmet bridges and the viaducts on the connection roads were affected by the quakes.
The motion called a Parliamentary Investigation to be opened to reveal the resistance of the bridges and the viaducts against a probable quake, and to determine the works in this respect.
