Proposal From Iran To Sportswomen To Wear Head Scarf

ANKARA, Feb 5 (A.A) - Iran, which will host 14th International Fajer Sports Activities, called on the Turkish sportswomen to cover their heads and this caused to the reaction of Sports Activities Federation.
The officials of the Turkish Sports Activities Federation responded negatively to the proposal of Iranian officials, and excluded sportswomen from the group which will participate the competitions.
Only sportsmen will represent Turkey during the competitions that will take place in February 7-8 in Tehran.
