LEFKOSA, Feb 4 (A.A) - Turkish Republif of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Rauf Dnektas has said that he would continue to debate the security issue with Greek Cypriot leader Glafcos Clerides on Wednesday. He indicated that both sides had different points of view regarding the matter and that they were trying to bring these views closer.
Denktas and Clerides had a meeting which lasted 70 minutes on Monday afternoon.
Responding to a question, Denktas said the two sides got closer to an agreement about the security issue during today's meeting. He also said that the solutions that appeared in the Greek Cypriot media were fabricated.
When asked when the security issue would be closed, Denktas said ''I think we would finish it on Wednesday.''
Answering a question about the ''functions'', Denktas said these functions were the authority of a government.
Dentkas announced that following the security matter, he and Clerides would discuss land and property issues.
