Parliament Speaker Arinc Meets Swedish Parliament Speaker Sydow

ANKARA - Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc met on Monday Parliament Speaker Bjorn von Sydow of Sweden.
Speaking at the meeting, Arinc thanked Sweden for extending support to Turkey's EU membership process. ''We hope that Sweden will continue supporting Turkey during the entry talks due to start on October 3rd,'' he added.
Meanwhile, Sydow said that the Swedish parliament fully support Turkey's EU aspiration.
Arinc and Sydow are expected to hold a joint news conference following the meeting between Turkish and Swedish parliamentary delegations.
Sydow is scheduled to meet Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan later in the day.
