ANKARA - Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen said on Monday that exports from Turkey exceeded 70 billion dollars, adding ''if this trend continues, we can reach 75 million dollars in exports.''
Speaking in a news conference in which he evaluated the figures of Silk Road Turkish Exports Fair, Tuzmen said that exports from Turkey between January 1st and June 25th, 2005 increased by 21.5 percent and reached 34.4 billion dollars.
Tuzmen stated that total exports of agricultural products was 4.07 billion dollars, total exports of industrial products was 29.64 billion dollars and total exports by mining sector was 700.94 million dollars in the same period.
