Terim To Coach Turkish National Soccer Team Again

ISTANBUL - Fatih Terim became coach of Turkish national soccer team after resignation of Ersun Yanal.
Turkish Soccer Federation Chairman Dr. Levent Bicakci said on Sunday that they had decided to sign a five-year contract with Terim.
He added that Terim would also serve as chief advisor to national teams till the 2010 World Cup.
Terim, 52, coached Turkish national soccer team between 1993 and 1996.
He won the UEFA Cup with Galatasaray in 2000 when the club became the first Turkish team to clinch a European title.
Terim then had spells with Fiorentina and AC Milan before returning from 2002-2004 for a second stint with Galatasary who he had taken to four consecutive league titles from 1997.
