Nearly 600 Bulgarian Cast Votes In Ankara

ANKARA - Nearly 600 Bulgarian cast their votes in Turkish capital Ankara for the general elections held in Bulgaria on yesterday (June 25th).
Ballot boxes were open in Bulgarian Embassy in Ankara between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. yesterday.
Fikret Oksuz, the chairman of the Association of Supporting Emigrants in Ankara, said that they tried to provide Bulgarian voters with every kind of facilities, adding that no problem took place during the voting.
Nearly 900 of 2,000 Bulgarian citizens, who live in Ankara, applied to vote in the national elections in Bulgaria.
Bulgarian citizens who migrated to Turkey cast their votes in 76 ballot boxes in 11 provinces of Turkey.
Nearly 1,000 Bulgarian citizens living in Ankara had cast votes in the general elections held in Bulgaria on June 17th, 2001.
