ANKARA, Jan 29 (A.A) - Prosecutor Hakan Kizilarslan announced his written comment on merits of People's Democracy Party (HADEP) case on Tuesday.
''Turkey is a place for Turks, it is not possible to divide it,'' said Kizilarslan in his written comment about the second congress meeting of HADEP which was held on June 23, 1996 in Ankara.
The case which was repealed by the Supreme Court of Appeals due to incomplete investigation, was heard at Ankara State Security Court No. 1 the same day.
Kizilarslan said in his written comment that the incidents which took place during the HADEP's congress meeting were planned and they were just like a public demonstration to show the strength of terrorist organization PKK.
Recalling the banners and the slogans shouted by the HADEP delegates in the meeting, Kizilarslan said that a Kurdish flag and a HADEP flag were displayed in the congress hall. He stressed that the poster of head terrorist Abdullah Ocalan and the so-called flag of the terrorist organization PKK were also brought to the hall when HADEP leader Murat Boslak entered the hall.
He noted that HADEP official Faysal Akcan took down the Turkish flag and put the so-called flag of PKK and the poster of Ocalan instead, adding that the HADEP members supported it by applauses.
Kizilarslan noted that Bozlak described the fight of the Turkish army against the terrorist organization PKK as ''occupation'' and he demanded the recognition of Kurdish identity.
''This is a clear example of integration with the PKK. Also during the trial, the suspects didn't stress that they were against the PKK and they didn't condemn the bloody terrorist organization and its massacres,'' he added.
Kizilarslan said that the suspects which were working at HADEP's organizations had become a political extension of the terrorist organization PKK and they were working to send militants to rural areas and to other countries.
He said that the suspects carried out activities under the instruction of the PKK besides providing terrorists shelter and support to the organization.
''Turkey's borders were drawn by Great Leader Ataturk and his friends who fought with him during the war. Nobody has the right nor the strength to divide or take a piece from this this land,'' he asserted.
Kizilarslan asked the court to sentence 41 suspects including Murat Bozlak to 15 to 22 years for being a member of the terrorist organization under Anti-Terrorism Law.
Court Chairman Mehmet Orhan Karadeniz postponed the hearing to a later date to allow time to the defendants to prepare their defense.
