Denktas And Clerides To Come Together For Fourth Time

LEFKOSA, Jan 25 (A.A) - President Rauf Denktas of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Greek Cypriot leader Glafcos Clerides will come together on Friday for the fourth time within framework of direct talks that started on January 16, 2002.
The leaders will come together at the Lefkosa Conference Center near the Lefkosa Airport in the buffer zone at 17:00 local time.
United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan's Special Representative Alvaro de Soto will be in attendance at the meeting as observer.
Denktas and Clerides will continue to discuss authorities of the central government.
President Denktas told reporters following the meeting on January 23 that they took up principles of the agreement.
During the meeting on January 26, President Denktas and Greek Cypriot leader Clerides decided to come together three times in a week at 17:00 local time on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
